Back in 1980, Jeremy Rifkin wrote a book warning of global warming
I read this book in 1986 in my 2nd year of college. I have a Natural Science degree and have always considered myself a scientist. I try to logically and informally apply the Scientific Method in my everyday life.
I was intrigued by Rifkin’s theory that since the Laws of Thermodynamics, specifically the 2nd, states that Entropy, or the heat content of the Universe is constantly increasing. If you apply this to the Earth, gases such as CFC’s and CO2, would trap the ever increasing heat released by burning wood, coal and oil/gasoline. The Earth’s temps would climb and climb as we move from one source of energy to increasingly more concentrated forms.
This sounded plausible to an impressionable 20 year old. I, however, woke up from my Liberal College stupor and began to distrust the very people who said Global “man-made” Warming was occurring. Once I saw people like Al Gore making millions off of this hysteria, I knew in my gut that something was amiss.
Last week, we’ve finally seen the first solid evidence that the Global Warming Alarmists have been lying and manipulating data.
I think this is the first real crack in the facade of Anthropogenic (Human-caused) Global Warming.
I hope more cracks form as this scheme is unraveled for what it is, a Progressive Liberal attempt to Socialize the World citizens at the Global level through rhetoric, indoctrination, taxes and the destruction of certain liberties.
Amen! I think I finally see the dawn through the Greenhouse gases and the full light of true science shining on those that would use it for their own financial and political gain.
Take away Al Gore’s Nobel. He is the worst kind of scientist and profiteer.
Only the heat death of our Sun will fully destroy this beautiful Earth
